Titus HCR titanium hardtail MTB Bike

Description

Old school cool 26er, with a couple of modern touches. It is a made-in-the-USA Titus “Hard Core Racer” titanium hardtail, the frame is a 1999 or 2000 I consider. The frame is in great shape with one scrape mark as shown in the photo. No dents anywhere, just normal cable rub in a couple of spots. Fox fork with a Chris King headset. The drivetrain is SRAM X9 1×10 with a seize derailleur, 11-36 cassette, and a 30T Race Face narrow-wide chainring. Cranks are Truvative Stylo, as is the stem and 780 mm wide bar. Deore XTR brake levers to a rear V-brake, and a front Avid BB-7 disk brake. It rolls on a Bontrager race lite rear wheel, and a DT Swiss 340 / XR 4.1d front, with reasonably new Kenda mixed surface tires. WTB saddle and a carbon bottle cage round it out. It is a large with a 19″ seat tube (C-T) and a ~23.5″ effective top tube – reach is more medium by today’s standards – and must fit any person from 5′ 8″ to 5′ 11″. The bike has very light use since I built it up from a frame several years ago. I at first used it to tow my daughter around town in a bike trailer, now it only gets ridden a couple of times a year. Fun town bike, or put knobbies on it and tear up the trails. Free shipping to lower 48. Measurements (the usage of a tape measure and level, call them “approximate”): Top Tube (C-C)= 22.25″Eff Top Tube = 23.5″Seat Tube (C-C) = 17.25″Seat Tube (C-T) = 19″Eff Seat Tube = 21.75″Chain Stay = 16.75″Head Tube = 4.25″
