NAHBS 2012 Indy Fab Ti Factory Lightweight Disc-Brake Cyclocross Show Bike This used to be one of the vital popular bikes at the 2012 North American Handmade Bicycle Show in Sacramento. It used to be featured in a lot of cycling press articles. This bike used to be custom built for the show and features a Shimano cross-specific Ultegra group, which incorporates a CX70 cross specific crankset and a top pull front derailleur (eliminates the pulley on the back of the seat tube). I am the original owner of this bike, and purchased it directly from IF sometime after the show. The bike originally had 10-speed shifters, rear derailleur, and cassette, and Hayes mechanical disc brakes, but I upgraded recently to Shimano 11-speed shifters with hydraulic brakes. The rear derailleur and cassette were upgraded to Ultegra 11 at that time also, and the stem and bars swapped out. The frame is painted in Nagaro blue with silver accents – a real stunner. An integrated carbon seat tube passes through the seat tube cluster and forms the basis of the integrated seat post – and adds the Lightweight designation to this frame. The ti topper that used to be fabricated allows for 2.5 centimeters of upward adjustment and has proven to be very robust and features details like single bolt saddle adjustment and the IF crown machined into the clamp. This bike is all new, aside from for the wheels, which came from a demo bike. 2012 Ti Factory Lightweight Cross: Frame material: Titanium and carbon Color: Nogaro Blue and Silver Seatpost design: Integrated into frame Brake mounts: Disc-brake specific Fork: ENVE Composites disc-only cyclocross fork, tapered steerer 1.125″ to 1.5″ Published geometry (see geometry diagram): Seat tube length (cm): 53 c-c Top tube length (cm): 56 horizontal Head tube length (mm): 150 Seat tube angle: 73 degrees Head tube angle: 72 degrees Wheelbase (mm): 1022.2 Standover height (mm): 822 Chainstay length (mm): 425 Build kit features the Shimano cross-specific mini group: Ergo Shifters: Shimano ST-RS685 11-speed STI Levers with hydro brakes Brakes: Shimano ST-RS685 Hydraulic Rear Derailleur: Shimano Ultegra 11 Front Derailleur: Shimano CX70 cross specific Crankset: Shimano CX70 cross specific Cassette: Shimano Ultegra 11-speed (11-28) Chain: Shimano Ultegra 11 Bottom Bracket: Shimano Other parts: Headset: Cane Creek Wheels: Bontrager Affinity Pro TLR Disc Road Wheels (11-speed) Tires: Bontrager CX3 700×32 Bars: Ritchey Classic Allow, 44cm c-c Stem: Thomson Alloy Saddle: Cutter Bar wrap: Cutter Condition: Bike is in new condition aside from for the wheelset, which came from a demo bike and has minimal miles on it. There are minor marks/scratches from wheel removal and from being moved around the show floor and my living room. There is a scratch on the non-drive side fork leg, about halfway down, that does not go through to the primer. There are small scratches on the non-drive side chain stay where the disk rotor nicked it on a sloppy wheel change (I have since put a Lizard skin on that chainstay to offer protection to the paint). I spilled a little brake fluid on the front pads, so they squeak presently (you’ll spray brake cleaner on the pads to treatment this). These are all pretty minor, and overall, it is a stunning bike.
